I'm ba-a-ack!

There is only one race, but many races. The human race is the only race God concerns Himself with. The Bible is a doctrinal (teaching) statement about the tri-unity and salvation of the humans he created. He created us with a free will, that is, we choose Him or we choose death. It really is not a hard choice. Who among us does not want eternal life with the Creator?

Once that choice is made, then come the races. Humans race toward many THINGS. Usually money, sex (the heavy kind), or creature comforts. The true minority race toward a higher calling. If it is of God, that race will be a genuine return of love from man to God. It does not involve works, good or bad and does not merit a single THING in heavenly rewards. Look, do you love your mate totally to get someTHING out of them?

Jesus Christ died on the Cross to merit heaven for you. It is a finished work by Himself through Himself. Religion tries to go around that and make it a race for self profit. Christianity is centered all around Christ and His giving of Himself in love for the human race, it's true, He loves us that much! Then the Christian life becomes a race for the goal of loving Him back. Telling others of His love and His works for us becomes the joyous joy there can ever be, even if it means getting in the way of obtaining THINGS. Think about it. Read the Gospel of John which is full of grace and truth, then Ephesians. You will see His object of love is the one race - you 'n me.
